Making a difference in the fight against cancer – one mile at a time!

Cancer touches all of us, which is why I am working to help the American Cancer Society by riding in the Pan Ohio Hope Ride. I’ll do all the pedaling. But I need your support to make this incredible journey!

Together, we can save lives from cancer!

This year, nearly 1.5 million people will hear the words “You have cancer,” and there’s a good chance that some of them will be people we know and love. I have chosen to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays – where cancer never steals another year from anybody’s life – by helping the American Cancer Society’s work. With our help, the American Cancer Society saves lives and creates more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures, and by fighting back.

Each donation made in association with the Pan Ohio Hope Ride goes to support the American Cancer Society’s goal to save lives and create a world with more birthdays. Last year, 2,900 patients and caregivers stayed at one of our four ACS East Central Division Hope Lodge facilities in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Hershey, or Philadelphia, saving them approximately $4.2 million in lodging costs.

I will be updating each day after the ride… thoughts, stories I’ve heard, my feelings about the ride, the people, etc… I will be riding on behalf of several people, some have lost the battle, some are still fighting the battle, and some are on the other side of cancer..
